Skoda Fabia

Automatic5 seats2016-2025

A small automatic for the marked turn-offs to the beach and the town. Automatic on the listings measured, with model years from 2016 to 2025.

Before you reserve

Read the deposit, the payment method and the cover on the car itself, and check its own minimum age and driving experience. An airport pick-up with an Ulcinj return is a one-way.

At collection

The licence itself in Latin script, the deposit card in the main driver’s name, and photographs of the wheels, windscreen and underside taken while somebody is still there.

Out on the coast

Paved public roads only. Beach tracks beyond the tarmac are outside the conditions.

What do you want
from a fortnight car?

The Fabia listings at Ulcinj are automatic, with model years from 2016 to 2025.

What the feed establishes

A five-seat economy car, automatic on the ones listed at Ulcinj, with model years across the listings running 2016 to 2025. It is present in all three of the booking windows the horizon allows. Specifications are not given here, and the comparable models are the Clio, the Yaris and the C3.

A longer stay

The conditions for a car for the fortnight are the same as for a weekend. Rentals run in whole days with a twenty-four hour minimum, and extending is allowed with advance notice to the rental company.

Fuel goes back at the level it was given, and parking and fines are the renter’s.

The beach road

Velika Plaza is ten minutes south. The signed turn-offs lead to lots near the sand and end there, and the tracks beyond them are outside the conditions in any car: paved public roads only.

A car returned so dirty that it hinders inspection is washed at the customer’s expense.

The border, which is closer than Budva

The Sukobin crossing is about half an hour from Ulcinj and Shkoder about an hour in total, and the crossing into Albania is an add-on chosen when you book, on a car that offers it. Its fee is shown on the car and set by the company that owns it.

Getting it, and getting home

Podgorica is 75 km and about an hour and a half from Ulcinj; Tivat is 85 km and about two hours. Both are separate places in the booking system, so collecting at one and finishing in town is a one-way and is priced as one.

Delivery and the handover

Delivery is the usual arrangement here, and the handover point is set by the company you book with and shown on the car before you reserve. That holds whether it is your own address or one of the fixed points in town.

When it arrives, photograph the wheels, the windscreen, the underside and the interior with the person handing it over. Those four are what standard insurance excludes. Keep the phone you booked with reachable throughout; that is a condition of the rental.

What do people ask
before they book this one?

The questions that decide a rental here. The conditions on the car you choose are the final word.

What documents do I need at pick-up?

A valid national driving licence with the details in Latin script, valid until at least the end of the rental. Copies and electronic licences are not accepted.

What card does the deposit need?

Often a physical embossed credit card in the main driver’s name. Where a debit card is accepted it is stated during booking and on your voucher.

Can I take it into Albania?

Yes, with the cross-border add-on chosen when you book, on a car that offers it. The crossing is about half an hour from Ulcinj and Shkoder about an hour.

Can I keep it longer than I booked?

Yes, with advance notice. Rentals are counted in whole days with a twenty-four hour minimum, so an extra afternoon is charged as another day.

Is there a minimum age for this car?

Age and driving experience are set per car rather than across the fleet, so the requirement is on the car itself.

What does the standard insurance not cover?

Wheels, undercarriage, windscreen and interior, and nothing at all for deliberate damage or neglect.
