The airport run
Podgorica Airport is 75 km and about an hour and a half from Ulcinj, and Tivat is 85 km and about two hours.
Longer drives
Cetinje is about an hour and fifty-five minutes from Ulcinj, Herceg Novi at the far end of the coast is over two and a half hours, and the north is four hours and more, which is what long days on Montenegrin roads mean from here.
Parking
Ulcinj old town is closed to cars. The promenade car park by Mala Plaza is the practical parking for the old town, with further marked bays at Liman I and Liman II and on Pinjes hill.
The return
A car returned so dirty that it hinders inspection is washed at the customer’s expense.
